I am writing an article about surviving mental illness based on my personal experience so that it might promote greater understanding regarding the issue instead of the stigma and shame so commonly put upon the sufferers.
It is emotionally challenging to write this as I revisit and review my painful experiences yet it gives me hope that this work might make the load lighter for others experiencing similar difficulties…and shed more light on my own.
So thank you again for this beautiful reminder!
