Here is a beautiful reflection for this week from the always insightful Sarah Varcas from her Astro-Awakenings.uk:
“This week the asteroid Juno conjuncts Neptune, forming a Grand Trine in Water with the North Node and Black Moon Lilith. Here we see reflected the fragility and transience of human life contrasted with the enduring quality of the Divine.
“We human-beings all too easily assume our continuation from day to day, and in that assumption live all manner of complacencies and excuses. There is always another day, another chance to do that thing we put off today, or pursue that dream which seems so far removed from our everyday lives.
“Too often we spend our days investing energy in activities which numb us to the truth of who we are and the precious nature of this opportunity we have here in human form.”
“…This heavenly configuration comes this week to remind us just how important it is to reflect and remember that we are but a fleeting presence on this planet, and whilst yes, the energy from which we are born continues on in other forms, this form, here and now in the material world, is our current gift. To squander it is to throw back, into the face of the Divine, the most precious jewels ever known.
It can be hard to remember this when we are suffering. Indeed we may wish with all our heart that this life be over rather than live another day of pain, alienation and despair. But this week the Moon and Uranus remind us that we are rarely completely powerless to change our circumstances, no matter how much we may believe ourselves to be. Within each moment there is always the spark of the new awaiting ignition if we will but strike the match of possibility.
“There is always the opportunity to experience ourselves not as limited by this human form and its trials and tribulations, but liberated by the fact that this physical form is animated by the Divine, by the same source energy which courses throughout the cosmos. As such we cannot be harmed by that which seems to break us. We can only be honed into a clearer and more beautiful reflection of All That Is.
“To contemplate life in this way opens doors previously closed: to a more intimate relationship with the Divine, with ourselves, with each other. It reminds us just who and what we are. It humbles and exalts us, creating the potential for change. And of course, change itself requires endurance as all that we no longer need falls away and we are left to languish in the arms of the unknown.
“The human condition is one which contains the potential for deep suffering just as it contains the potential for deep joy. It is often the experience of the former which eventually reveals the latter in that moment when we recognise that loss and gain are two sides of the same experiential coin.
“But within this see-saw of ecstasy and despair exists the gentle strength that propels us forward in life, soft as a whisper, mighty as a raging torrent. It is that strength to which the heavens point this week, reminding us that our very breath is the breath of the Divine living through and within us, breathing us, each and every day.”
