We are collectively moving into what the Mayans called the wave of “unity consciousness.”
What this means is that within the collective mind, the idea of us as one “planet” is going to be pervasive.
Before this time, we have been horizontally inclined in our thinking and the prevalent mentality has been about borders and nationalism.
“National boundaries are not evident when we view the Earth from space. Fanatic ethnic or religious or national identifications are a little difficult to support when we see our planet as a fragile blue crescent fading to become an inconspicuous point of light against the bastion and citadel of the stars.”

As we enter this new time, the idea of us as a “planet” will become more dominant. With all the natural events occurring on Mother Earth (as she shifts to get herself in balance), and the worldwide attention on mankind’s irresponsible decisions, such as the building of nuclear plower plants on earthquake faults and toxic emissions being blasted into our atmosphere, we are just beginning to expand our awareness of us as a whole.
If you think about the development of human consciousness throughout time, you can realize that we have come a long way in our thinking but we still have a ways to go.
Think about how much our understanding of ourselves and the world around has changed since the 1950’s when we had segregation. The civil right rights movement and the awakening movement that came in the 60’s opened doors and began the big collective shift. It paved the way for the times we are living in now.
Every generation steps on the shoulders of the generations past. We are the result of the quality of consciousness of our parents and the ideas of our time and theirs.
We will pass on to our children an ever more clarified vision of Being human and an expanded awareness of the world. Our children will then take what we have given them and carry the seeds forth for the next evolution for our species.
Think about how different is the world they are growing up in, a world of connectivity and communication. The world wide web has become a virtual space that has connected us across the nations. Information and knowledge can be spread and shared in an instant.
If we consciously use these developments wisely, we have the power to promote change by spreading ideas that will open up minds and transform thinking.
We have only barely skimmed the surface of the human experience in the energetic realms. What we are capable of, what we can experience, not through some idea, but actually experience within our body and mind, is so much more that we have acknowledged as a culture.
In time, slowly, these new ideas will seep into the collective until they become the norm.
So this next wave of consciousness, as the Mayan elders had long foreseen, is a planetary consciousness. People will begin to care for the planet, we will begin to make our choices based on what we need to do for our Planet Earth.
Compassion will arise in the hearts of many as we collectively acknowledge our vulnerability and the disregard we have had for our land.
This compassion, this new vision of the world, is already here. Seeds are sprouting in the hearts of many.
Bring this into your awareness and rejoice in the changes we are making as a group.
Keep doing your part to change the way you view the world, and open up to the possibility that there is something greater than you know…. A way to experience your life, in a new way, that will bring you great satisfaction and joy and will herald us into a new time! It’s what we’ve been waiting for!

This may sound strange, but the planet is alive. It is not just a chunk of rock we live on, it is a spiritual being. And this being is not a separate thing, it is us. I believe the change will come when enough people become awake and aware enough to see that we are not separate individuals, but all parts of the same being, the same consciousness. An awareness of the planet will be just an awareness of ourselves, our connection to each other, and the lack of separation or difference. We all feel the connection, it’s pull on something inside we just can not explain. It is the thing we call God, the drive behind an ever growing fanaticism with everyone feeling more and more absolute in their conviction and motivations.
Our single consciousness, the one single being we all are is not just comprised of those who are alive at this moment, but it is a repository of all the knowledge and experiences that have come before us. Energy does not cease to exist, and the energy that is a person having a unique experience here joins with the species consciousness when the experience is over. Each new experience adding to the total (for lack of a better word) mass of our single consciousness, where it is currently experiencing, or joined with the whole. And like all thing in physics which gain mass, they gain a grow pull or attraction (like gravity) pulling harder and harder on that undescribable place in us all, that place that everyone is so sure is God, and perhaps they are right to some degree. All I can do is hope that soon more people will feel the consciousness for what it is, feel your ancestors all the way back to the point where our species began processing this consciousness energy. And beyond that point there is something else, different, much older. I can feel them too, those that were here before us, a progenitor to us so to speak. They gave us this gift, on purpose or accident, they were there before us. Perhaps they are just another version of us, it is hard to tell, really.
The reason it is so vague, and does not sing in all our minds, is it is asleep, or in some form of dormancy. There was something terrible that happened here, to this planet and all its living beings. The thing, or things perhaps, that are responsible for the flood that exists in all mythology on this planet, I believe the so called sinking of Atlantis. But from what I can see inside my sleeping self, sinking is not what happened, ripped, torn, blasted, or just knocked, the other continent to counter balance Pangaea was removed from this world by some means, the world is definitely smaller now. And the injury, not just to the lifeforms living here, but a near mortal blow to the being that is this planet as well, sending it into the state it currently rests in, dormant, sleeping, healing. And here we are, new life, and yet still part of the old connected to it, and currently sleeping as it sleeps.
This being, and its living components are a thing that are truly wondrous. The best my mind can equate us to is something like a biological/spiritual quantum computer or processor. The ways computer scientists and quantum physicists describe what a quantum computing device would function like just rang so true. Quantum entangled with everything in the universe, and able to transfer information so fast it is instant. Able to process so fast and working through entanglement, it could know what you want before you realize you want. Able to know what will be before it happens. Omnipresence. That is the potential for us, if we choose it. If we awaken.
But it is harder then you think. There are many obstacles in the way. There is the ever present em pollution, I can feel it everywhere I go, pressing in all around me, separating me from me. And there is the way most of me thinks, each component focused on itself, not seeing the whole, explaining away the connection with religion, and replacing our true connection to each other with electronic supplements. And there are the filters placed on our perception, ensuring that we only precieve a small portion of what is. Filters that were seeds planted a very long time ago, not sure why, or by who, but they are there, I see them now. But there is always hope, as long as there are humans, we still have a chance to awaken as a species, to realize that the duality is in existing as a single entity have an infinite steam of unique, individual experiences. To be come that being that was once here, gain harmony within the one us, and see without the blinders we now do.I look forward to the day when I awaken as one and many, fully aware, connected to all my memories and knowledge, and each piece of myself, and yet still having a unique individual experience.

2 DBC- I 2 look forward 2 that day. It must be on a near horizon, as it’s amazing how such diverse individuals can come to the same insights so exactly. Takes me back 2 the hippie days when we could all finish each others sentences…hence the popularity of the Wow! word. I always intuited that those magic (supernatural) 2 weeks in the summer of 1967/The Summer Of Love…were in fact a PREVIEW of humanity’s future…& now things are coming 2 pass. Within each individual…which is the telling thing!

We view life from the waking level of consciousness. The changes foreseen by the Mayan elders can only be achieved when a specific percent of the global population is functioning in unity consciousness. To achieve this selfless state of being requires discipline and dedication. I,personally don’t see this happening while humanity is in the present manifested form.

As someone who has been on both sides — unity consciousness as well as terribly conflicted — I feel what keeps the low vibrational fields in place is how we view them. As long as we’re criticising, lamenting, feeling sad about things and being hurt by what’s wrong, we’re holding on to what we want gone. Ironically I feel we must accept, heal and then not keep harping on the things that are off to assimilate lower-level life experiences into our more exalted states of being. Actually one of the things that made me depressed and dark was the amount of anguish and darkness I experienced through spiritual forums, the press and folks around. What we say, write and put out there has an impact on the people around us and we owe it to the concept of unity consciousness that we project a great deal of optimism and hope even about the things we are dismayed by.
